This is what's hooked up right now. Still have a lot of stuff on cold storage when i need it. some 5 drives with varying capacities 2-4tb that are completely full. The gdrive i use as a cloud backup, but it takes time to fill it up. My bandwidth is not the best. Usable space right now is in the 120-150tb range somewhere. Anime is on the TV-drives as to make life easier for my plex server.

[DESKTOP]

2 TB SSD for system, gaming & random things ...

[HOMESERVER]

120 GB SSD system, openHAB ...

240 GB SSD file syncing

2 TB data-logging energy production & consumption, air quality, lighting, motion sensor activity, etc. ...

16 TB for 3-month 4MP, 5MP and 4K surveillance video storage

[NAS]

8 TB for anime.

4 TB for manga, doujinshi and VNs.

2 TB for fanarts, screenshots, CDs, lives, etc. ...

1 TB archival of books, photos, record-keeping...

[LAPTOP (Blade Stealth 13)]

512 GB SSD system, work, random ...

1 TB Thunderbolt 3 SSD gaming

2 TB external HDD for "archiving on the go", as I'd rather avoid VPNing home and leave my NAS off

Mostly I bought drives on sale, as well as re-purposing from previous PC builds.

For context, I live alone and my job often requires me to travel abroad sometimes a couple of days, sometimes months, hence the absurd 16 TB surveillance video storage drive and complete data-logging.

>18TB in monitoring your house

My house is wired for a security system, but it can't even hold that big of a hard drive.
